Washington, DC has a wealth of activities for both business and leisure travelers. It is easy to reach by train, air or car with a far reaching railway system, three major airports, and a vast highway system. Once you've arrived, the Metro system of subway trains and buses makes it an easy city to navigate. We encourage you to take advantage of the sites and enjoy some holiday spirit in our Nation's capital. Washington DC has something for everyone - from visiting the National Building Museum, the Smithsonian Institute, the new World War II Memorial, to the historic monuments and buildings, and the National Christmas Tree. Hotel Information

The Renaissance Hotel is the accommodation of choice for all event attendees. Just a half-block walk to the Convention Center, the Renaissance is most convenient to our Conferences and Exhibition. The Renaissance Hotel is just 3 minutes from Union Station, conveniently near the Metro, and located between the White House and the Capitol Building. Driving Directions

Washington, DC is circled by the Capital Beltway, formed by Interstates I-495 and I-95. Interstate 66 leads from Washington, DC west to Virginia. Interstate 50 heads east to Annapolis, MD, the Chesapeake Bay and the beaches. Interstate I-95 heads north to Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York. Rail and Flight Arrival

Rail Arrival: Union Station is the main hub for AMTRAK, MARC and some Metro lines. In addition to being a transportation hub, this historic and magnificent building is filled with shops, restaurants and movie theatres.

AMTRAK Convention Fare Code X02Q-921

Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the lowest available fare to Washington, DC between December 7-16, 2007. To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. Conventions cannot be booked via Internet. Please be sure to refer to Convention Fares Code X02Q-921 when making your reservation. This offer is not valid on Auto Train. Fare is valid on Metroliner and Acela service for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.

The Metrorails are available to downtown and the Convention Center has its own Metro Station (Mt.Vernon Square/Convention Center) on the Yellow/Green Line making it convenient for exhibitors and attendees. Metrorail and Metrobus provide the safest, cleanest and most efficient way of getting around Washington, DC and the metropolitan suburbs. Five rail lines and an extensive bus system connect the District with the Maryland and Virginia suburbs. Train lines are named for colors: Red, yellow, blue, green, and orange.

We also suggest the Circulator which offers continuous bus transportation between Union Station and downtown locations, including the DC Convention Center. The fare is $1.00. The Circulator runs from 7am-9pm daily. For more information call 202-962-1423.

Flight Arrivals: Reagan National Airport is the closest airport to the Washington Convention Center. Taxi fare to downtown is about $12-15 and Metrorail's Yellow line stops at the airport and at the Convention Center. Also, Washington Flyer and Super Shuttle now offer service from the airport to downtown hotels. Baltimore/Washington International Airport
Located 30 miles east of Washington, DC and offering a full range of domestic and international flights. More than 50 Amtrak and commuter trains travel between Washington, DC's Union Station and the BWI rail station.Monday-Friday. Super Shuttle offers door-to-door service between BWI and your Washington, DC or suburban hotel, office or home.
Washington Dulles International Airport
Located 26 miles west of Washington, DC and offering a full range of domestic and international flights. Taxi fare to downtown is approximately $50. Washington Flyer provides bus service to downtown hotels, with departures every 45 minutes, and SuperShuttle offers door to door service.
