Specifying for VA Hospital Construction
Hear the important and challenging role of specifying for hospital construction. Hospitals are not only the most expensive buildings to build, but since they have to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they cost the most to operate. Discuss the specifier’s role in creating a high performance healing environment for patient comfort and quality of care.

HVAC Excellence in Federal Buildings and GSA Version of Master Specifications (Mechanical)
The Facilities Standards for the Public Buildings Service P-100 establishes the criteria and standards for GSA buildings. The HVAC Excellence initiative in GSA requires enhancement to the GSA criteria to enforce quality of standards and care given to mechanical designs. Since GSA buildings are long-term buildings, the updated Master Specifications emphasize those issues which are being addressed in the GSA version of the Master Specifications. The presenters will address the issues critical to GSA requirements.
